I *believe*, though I am not positive, that they were using
the small ticklers manufactured by TiNi Alloy Company in Oakland, CA.
They use a shape memory alloy which returns to it's un-bent form when
electricity is passed through it, so it is relatively easy to make
very small pressure points with it. Seems like it could be easy to
incorporate into a glove.
