These files are for use with Rend386 (demo4.exe or demo4b.exe).

Rend386 is a PC based virtual reality system. It is freeware
and it should be available from the same place you got this file.

VRASP, the Virtual Reality Alliance of Students and Professionals,
sells Power Gloves and connectors for use with Rend386 and also
sells Object Glove, an object-oriented C++ library for accessing
one or two Power Gloves under Windows. See contact information
below.

This world was created by Mark Pflaging.

Some notes about this world:
The six objects you see are from a family of surfaces called
Superquadrics. I got the equations for them from the book
"Graphics Gems III", editied by David Kirk. The aritcle is
"Rigid Physically Based Superquadrics" on page 137, by A. H.
Barr.

These surfaces are really neat, you can't get them by simple
extrusion, rotation, or volumetric Boolean operations. The
curves shown in the world, from left to right, have n, e,
and a values given in the chart below.

			n	e	a
		      --- --- ---
Leftmost object 3	1	0
			3	2	0
			3	3	0
			3	1	2
			3	2	2
Rightmost object	3	3	2

That's about it I guess. Good for about 5 or 10 minutes of
gawking but after that it's kind of boring.

This world was generated completely in about 30 minutes using
an object-oriented tool for creating .PLG files. It allows you
to specify any value for n, e, and a (and the number of divisions
for u and v), and it generates a .PLG file for you. This is just
one of MANY menu selections for creating and modifying .PLG files.
I'm not ready to say much else about it yet, except that it is
really great. If your interested in this, leave me some email or
somethimg telling me what your interest is.
